Moon-Hawk v Tether

Overview:
In this sci-fi 3D animation project, I set out to create a **Futuristic Fighter Jet** launching a surprise assault from low altitude all the way up into the **stratosphere**—targeting a colossal **Space Fortress** that looms high above the clouds. This scene combines **hard surface modeling** with **CGI VFX** to deliver one of my most ambitious **High Altitude Combat** sequences to date.

Technical Highlights:
- **Software & Tools**: Modeled and animated entirely in **Blender 3D**, using **Geometry Nodes** for advanced **destruction simulation** and **cloud simulation**.
- **VFX & Rendering**: Employed **Houdini** for volumetric **cloud effects** and destruction FX, then rendered with **Redshift** for realistic lighting and materials.
- **Design Approach**: The fighter jet’s sleek yet aggressive silhouette is the result of detailed **hard surface modeling**, while the massive fortress structure reflects **futuristic architecture** and **megastructure** scale.
- **Concept & Inspiration**: Inspired by classic aerial combat scenes, I aimed to push the envelope with a truly vertical engagement that highlights both the serenity of the **Sci-Fi environment** and the raw power of a **stratosphere assault**.

Story & Mood:
The fortress hovers at the edge of Earth’s atmosphere, surrounded by swirling clouds and tension. My goal was to balance the vast scale of the **Space Fortress** with intimate cockpit shots of the fighter jet as it soars upward, creating a dynamic sense of motion and urgency. This project is all about capturing the contrast between serene **cloudscapes** and explosive battle sequences.
